Coffee, tea, & sanity

Carter G Cares Inc. is a non-profit that was established in 2020 by Ashley and Marcellas Preston after their son Carter’s 226-day NICU stay. The mission of their organization is to educate, empower, and assist families with children in the NICU and to bring awareness to prematurity and high risk pregnancy. Through their initiatives, they provide free parking, gas cards, meals, toiletries, wishlist items, and more for families at the NICU and the Ronald McDonald House.

DenDe Coffee Co. is a small, family owned business inspired by the spirit of two sons—affectionately nicknamed Bear and Lion—two strong personalities who, like their coffee flavors, face each other boldly, while balancing in perfect harmony. Every sip is a nod to heritage, family, and the timeless bond over a shared cup. 

All coffee and tea tastings featured, have been donated by DenDe Coffee Co.

The “Coffee, Tea, & Sanity” year-long initiative, is a community wellness experience focused on rest, release, and connection.  Every month in 2026, we are creating and facilitating Community Wellness spaces for various organizations, companies, and families that support our community, including but not limited to NICU’s, private organizations, service workers, and communities of first responders. These community members need mental refreshment, in order to give back to the community and their families. We provide that mental refreshment through intentional conversation and reflection, coffee and tea tastings and products (provided by DenDe Coffee Co.),  facials, massages, and goodie bags with items from sponsors and partners.

All donations are put toward our community wellness events, through our non-profit partner Cater G. Cares and are tax deductible.
